Swell Sculpture Festival is an event that takes place during the beautiful spring weather on Queensland's Gold Coast, the event runs for approximately ten days and features diverse pieces of art created in a variety of unusual materials. The final result is a vibrant outdoor art exhibition with spectacular backdrops of waves crashing onto rocks, late afternoon mist....drenching Currumbin Alley with orange glows and not to forget sunrises with clear glassy seas.

The Festival is a photographers delight, but make sure you are early!

A Festival with a Difference you must attend.

This is truly a festival with a difference; to start with it’s free! You can browse through the outdoor exhibition virtually at any time and in most cases touch the artworks exhibited. To walk the Swell Festival along Pacific Parade Currumbin is a delight; some of the displays can be interactive but most are for admiration, curiosity and awe.

Generally exhibition you attend these days attract a fee to enter and then you can’t take any photos or video, here you can do both.
