Looking out to sea take a few steps to the right
and you have crossed the state border into New South Wales, a few steps
to the left and you are back in Queensland. This is a unique location

walking routes.
Point Danger was named by
Captain James Cook in 1770, during his journey up the east coast
of Australia, this headland served as a warning to mariners of
this treacherous location.

place is brimming with interesting facts about Australian
maritime history. Take your time walking around Point Danger
Lookout; Memorial Plaques are positioned along ' Centaur
Remembrance Walk' to those lost at sea, take a few moments to
read them and enrich your visit with some local history.
