Palm Beach
Parklands is a great park for
families, whether you are on holiday or one of the locals. A variety of
options for walking are available including
Tarrabora Reserve,
Currumbin Spit
and Beree Badall Boardwalk.
A Pirate Theme equipment for the children and all the water sports at
your finger tips. Have breakfast or lunch at the Dune Café.
Bring the grandparents they will enjoy the walks with the kiddies.
There are lots of
options at Palm Beach Parklands, if you are standing facing Currumbin
Lagoon turn right and you can follow the pathway to
Tarrabora Reserve,
where the trail meanders along Currumbin Estuary, there are areas of
sandy beach to sit and enjoy beautiful Currumbin Creek. This walk is
particularly beautiful in the early morning…. join the locals and go for
an early morning swim.
You can access
Beree Badall Boardwalk
by following the pathway under Currumbin Bridge. You will see a sign at
the entrance of the boardwalk.
During the summer months it
would be best to take this walk early
in the day, the boardwalk can get very warm later in the day, so don’t
forget the essentials (hat, sunscreen, water and insect repellent). I
said this before and I’ll say it again, you never know who you will meet
on a walk.
During the weekends this
whole area is alive with families enjoying all the options available.
Everything from surfing to snorkelling, fishing and boating is here for
the taking.
